On the far off planet of Lodi

An old hermit was hiding away

Discovered a grand cosmic lie

And wanted dead every day

There he sat in the adobe

Building telepathic power

Allowed a certain hope to be

Coming in a future hour

Charged with an accusation

Creating cosmic catharsis

His lonely life of isolation

Appeared only at the surface

His mind linked to every being

He spoke the truth to all

Third eye open and truly seeing

The weapon to make empires fall

Galactic authority sought him out

Needed to silence his voice

All the planets began to shout

Leaving government no choice

The revolution was long and weary

And the planets were finally free

The death toll was rather dreary

But the living adopt a creed

Having been shown a psychic gift
