Death of Ego
Silently I stand on sacred ground
Absolutely no souls around
Questioning events which got me here
And why a presence feels so near
Observing nothing in line of sight
Distressed over secluded fright
I should fear that I’ve been left behind
Yet fear means nothing to my mind
Maybe lost and should probably leave
Presence said remain and believe
But doing comes at a costly price
Your ego must be sacrificed
Trying to resist the godly force
Painfully had to change my course
With a mighty strength I did let go
Embracing energetic flow
And now I am no longer my own
From death of ego life has grown
Novel eyes viewing what can’t be seen
Outward being a waking dream
