A Vessel
White crescent waves of water
Sailing to horizons unknown
The ship is weathered and rotting
The sails are shred and torn
The crew has all abandoned
Everyone dead and gone
One man at the helm
The captain presses on
The destination has never been heard of
No eyes to see it true
Yet the captain sails valiantly
Feeling it’s what to do
The storm is never ending
His mind completely absent
The captain’s now a madman
Crashing through the crescents
Deep down he knows the truth
Calmer waters are on the way
One man still navigating
That vessel travels to this day
